Not every estate is connected to the Telstra copper network anymore like it used to be. Many new estates are reticulated by private companies which have their own system hardware and specifications.

So, the first question you need to ask yourselves when you are building a new home is: Which one of the above communications net-work companies supplies the network in this street? To get the correct answer to this question can be a little tricky.
